General Information
Thinking about buying an RV? Give it a trial run and rent an RV from us! If within one year of your rental you decide to purchase an RV, you may apply up to $1,500 of your base rental costs (excluding excess mileage charges, damages and sales tax) toward your purchase price!
Payment / Deposit
A down payment deposit of $250 is required to make a reservation (all $250 will apply toward your rental charges). All rental charges and applicable deposits are due 30 days prior to your pick up date. Citte Rentals accepts cash, cashiers checks, VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express and the renter must be a holder of one of the above-mentioned major credit cards. The actual credit card and cardholder must be present at departure. Company and personal checks are not accepted. In addition to all rental charges, a refundable security deposit is required in the amount of $600 for motorhomes and $250 for trailers.
Cancellation
From the date of reservation to 30 days prior to your pick up date, Citte Rentals will refund your down payment less a $35 cancellation fee. If you cancel within 30 days of your pick up date, do not show up on time for pick up, or are unable to comply with our requirements at departure, we will not provide a refund. If you make a reservation for a departure within the next 30 days, the estimated charges, security deposit and other associated fees and taxes are due immediately and if the reservation is canceled, the estimated charges are retained by Citte Rentals as liquidated damages. Subject to availability, you may make changes to your reservation and different rate schedules may be applicable to new reservation dates.
Motorhome Insurance Information
Rental motorhomes must have full coverage insurance before leaving our lot. You have a choice of providing a binder through your own personal insurance, listing Ray Citte, Inc (dba: Citte Rentals) as "Additional Insured" and "Loss Payee" or if your insurance will not extend to the rental vehicle, you will be required to purchase full coverage insurance through MBA Insurance. There is a small processing fee and the rate is $15 - $25 per day, with a $1,000 deductible. We collect the $1,000 deductible at the time of departure as an additional security deposit. We will fully refund this additional security deposit within ten days after checking in the unit without damages.
Trailer Insurance Information
The coverage on your tow vehicle typically extends to the rental unit while attached to your vehicle. Proof of insurance on the towing vehicle is required before departure. Citte Rentals provides collision and comprehensive insurance coverage while disconnected from the tow vehicle, with a $500 deductible. The renter is responsible for this deductible in the event of damages.
Other Important Information
A) The person named on the RV Rental Reservation Application must be at least 25 years of age and is the only person authorized to sign our rental agreement, to drive the vehicle off our lot, and to return the vehicle at check in; B) Citte Rentals reserves the right to substitute a vehicle of equal or greater value, or refund your down payments due to vehicle unavailability; C) We will not issue a refund if you return the vehicle prior to your scheduled return date; D) The rental vehicle is not permitted in Mexico, Canada, or Alaska, places where extreme heat or freezing could cause health or vehicle problems, or in areas where communications by phone or cellular phone is unavailable; E) Smoking, pets, or towing of any type is prohibited unless prior authorization is obtained and an additional fee is paid; F) Generally, all vehicles are ready and available for pick up only after 1:00 PM and any departure available by 4:00 PM is considered on time. Early pick-ups may be available, please call the night before or the morning of your departure to confirm; G) Vehicles are due in no later than 11:00 AM on the due in date; H) Any additional drivers must have a clean driving record, be at least 25 years of age, and be present at time of departure with his or her valid drivers license available for verification; I) Pets are allowed for an additional fee, limited availability on select units only and customer must pay an additional $100 security deposit and comply with the terms and conditions of the Pet Addendum.
